us: because it's worthy. we take caps lock very seriously.

what is SCORE! you ask? it is a swap event. you bring your old (but not raggedy) accessories, shoes, jewelry, and vinyl, pay a small fee, and then go inside a magical venue filled with goodies you get to paw through and take home. one man's michael jackson record is another man's dance party, as they say. here's a sneak peak at what i'll be bringing.

anthropologie // tabletop design workshop

hello lovelies!

guess what?!  we have partnered up with one of our favorite stores (okaaaay, our favorite store), anthropologie, to host a little tabletop design workshop.  if you happen to live in the bay area come out to the new anthropologie in walnut creek and say hi to your gals pals.  this shindig is taking place on saturday morning, october 6th from 10am-12pm.  other than hanging with us you'll have a chance to sip on some coffee, grab a donut - heck, they'll even be some champagne drinks (of course).  you'll see a few fall table setups using anthropologie goods and everyday repurposed objects turned into centerpieces, all while making a few centerpieces of your own - with us.  yay!  can't wait to see your sweet faces.

when i was a little girl i had three career ambitions: wedding cake decorator, pilot for the blue angels and steel drum beach bum. an eclectic mix no doubt. being a part of the wedding industry today, i get ample opportunity to gaze at and drool over the gorgeous cakes that talented bakers create. one of these days i'm going to take a class from one of our favorite bay area bakers at susie cakes. for now, here are some beautifully crafted desserts that take the cake. hang on to your seats - these might make you run down to the nearest bakery for a snack. // roxy

after all the early mornings at the san francisco flower mart, to the days of prep we are so pleased to see the florals we have produced along the way.  these are just a few that blooms that make us happy and we can't wait to show you all more.

sneak peek // a peach farm celebration

our summer has been jammed packed with goodness and this peach farm wedding was one of the first of the year to kick things off.  not only did we love the overall look of this celebration but we loved working with this couple.  we have to pinch ourselves sometimes knowing this is our job.  we really can't wait to share lot's more from this wedding.

// dip baby dip

the singer of "tootsee roll" had it right when he sang "dip baby dip." and by that we mean color-dipping. a simple way to turn anything from boring to excitement-inducing is with color-blocking. all you need is tape, paint and a few minutes. it's easy as that. from picture frames to driftwood to kitchen table chairs, there are so many items that could use a dip in this hot summer heat. with fall on its way, why not change things up and color-block something in your life. // roxy
