we've seen traditional cakes fall by the way side, recently. but, most of our couples still want a small-ish cake to cut...or one that just looks super pretty with all of the other delicious desserts. here are some images we love to show our clients of ways you can dress up a simple, rustic frosting-filled cake. with flowers, of course.

and that's a wrap: the cream event
we packed up and headed down to LA to take part in one of the most creative wedding inspired events curated by the talented bash.please. we designed a table top display with pops of neon and were spoiled with amazing flowers from the little branch. we were in ahh of all the neon eye candy created by all the creative folks involved and of course danced our hearts out under lots of geronimo balloons!.
we handcrafted shadow boxes to place at each setting for guests to find their "neon string" inspired name filled with little blooms for that extra touch.

we knew we had to add a pop of neon with chairs so we turned to our go to gal at mignonne decor. she crafted up these neon yellow chairs we just love!

who doesn't love a good neon sign and we thought of nothing better then to hang a bright "flamingo pink" one that read "enjoy"!

paint chip inspired
keeping with trend and using unexpected materials to re-use or up-cycle something that normally wouldn't be considered, we turn to paint chips. the options are endless on how to create something unique from such a simple everyday thing.

unexpected materials
we always tell our clients that we like to re-use materials in a way that hasn't been used or seen before. turn something that would be recycled or thrown away into something totally awesome! we've been inspired by so many wonderful uses of unexpected materials recently. we just had to share some of our favorites. go ahead! try it! you'll be surprised at what you come up with.
